Kenny oversees Elemental Impact’s financial reporting, compliance, and internal controls, ensuring the organization operates with the highest standards of financial rigor and accountability to maximize its environmental and economic impact across communities.

Kenny plays a vital role in maintaining the integrity and resilience of Elemental’s financial operations, a process that is essential to its mission of investing in innovative technology. He is responsible for enhancing accountability and financial stewardship through accurate financial reporting and strong internal controls. Kenny’s work provides a foundation of trust for our funders and investors. This rigor allows Elemental to effectively manage its capital and scale its impact. He brings a seasoned risk-management perspective to the team, translating complex financial and regulatory requirements into clear, compelling narratives for senior leadership and the Board.
Prior to Elemental
Kenny brings deep experience in accounting and risk management to Elemental. He spent three years leading the Corporate Audit department for NASDAQ-listed Hawaiian Airlines, where he oversaw the Internal Audit and Enterprise Risk Management functions. Prior to joining Hawaiian Airlines, Kenny spent ten years providing audit and consulting services. His clients included publicly listed corporations, government entities, and nonprofit organizations. Kenny is a Certified Public Accountant licensed in the state of Hawaii (not currently in public practice).
Outside of the office
Kenny is working on improving his swimming technique. He glides through the water with the grace of a drowning cat.
