Lani Cobb
Events Director
Lani leads the strategy and execution of Elemental events, designing experiences and convenings that bring our mission to life and foster meaningful connections.
As Events Director, Lani brings the organization’s mission and community to life through events that connect people, ideas, and action. She oversees major gatherings like Elemental Interactive and CEO & Leadership Summit that exceed industry average NPS scores annually, and intimate touchpoints with funders, portfolio companies, and local ecosystems. With each event, Lani creates and shapes experiences that feel purposeful, engaging, and grounded—reflecting Elemental’s values and advancing the organization’s priorities.
Her work blends strategic planning, coordination, and experiential design, making complex convenings feel seamless and strategic. Lani focuses on creating spaces where founders, funders, and partners can engage meaningfully, share insight, and explore opportunities together.
Prior to Elemental
Lani produced fundraising and engagement events for a healthcare system, including an annual gala that raised over $1 million. It was there that she developed a strong foundation in event production, attention to detail, and creating experiences that connect people and purpose. She later brought these skills to the hospitality industry, managing high-touch events and learning the art of seamless execution and guest experience. Drawn to work that combines operational expertise with meaningful impact, Lani joined Elemental to help convene the innovators, funders, and partners driving solutions for a more sustainable future.
Outside of the Office
Lani grew up in Hawaii and now lives in Austin, TX. She finds joy exploring hiking trails, enjoying long walks, and spending time with animals of all shapes and sizes. Growing up surrounded by ocean, mountains, and lush landscapes, she carries a love of nature wherever she goes. She’s an avid podcast listener, from economics deep dives to true crime stories, and is working on getting back into climbing.
