Sabin is a climate investor who grew up in Portland (Oregon), Nice (France), and Tokyo (Japan), and now lives in Berkeley (California). She is driven by the challenge of helping the most impactful climate solutions reach commercial scale.

As the Director of Investments and Innovation for Elemental’s food & agriculture, nature, and industry portfolios, she focuses on building strong relationships with startup executives and funding partners, helping shape investment themes across each portfolio, supporting the recruitment of exceptional startups, and contributing to the design and development of portfolio company projects.

Prior to Elemental Impact

Sabin invested in climate tech startups at the Ecosystem Integrity Fund, where she served as Board Observer for 6 different startups, including Elemental portfolio companies Vibrant Planet and BurnBot. Before that, she built nature and land-use initiatives uniting policymakers, academia, and the private sector at the World Resources Institute. She received her MBA from UC Berkeley Haas with a concentration in sustainable finance and her BA in International Relations from Brown University.

Outside of the office
