Jackson sources, evaluates, and supports investments in climate technology startups. He is excited to help entrepreneurs pull forward new technologies that cut carbon emissions and bring economic environmental, and social benefits to the communities where they operate.
Prior to Elemental
Jackson spent several years at Jump, where he launched the company’s first electric bike share system (San Francisco), led charging infrastructure deployment, and helped expand bike share to dozens of cities. Prior to Jump, he spent two years in Miami as a Venture for America Fellow and engineer at a biotech startup. Jackson earned an MBA from Stanford University and a BSE in biomedical engineering from Duke University.
Outside of the office
Jackson enjoys biking, beating his partner in NYT daily games, spending time with friends, and going on sailing trips with his twin brother.
