As Development Manager, Hunter builds the back-end systems that are critical to Elemental’s dynamic fundraising program. She coordinates proposal development, grant reporting, database management and budget tracking, enabling the Development team to secure resources that help entrepreneurs advance technologies that deliver tangible benefits to our climate and local communities.

Working closely across program, legal, and finance teams, Hunter aligns each grant with clear project goals, accurately tracks outcomes, and curates engaging communications that clearly show donors how their support drives real impact. By combining operational rigor and best-in-class grant management, she ensures every grant and funder partnership is carefully stewarded to power Elemental’s mission.

Prior to Elemental

Hunter has diverse experience in nonprofit, campaign, and family office operations, having supported the management and compliance of budgets totaling over $100 million across multiple states and organizations. She was part of the core operations teams for Tom Steyer 2020 and NextGen America and also managed grants and compliance for California-based advocacy organization NextGen Policy.

She holds a MPA from NYU Wagner and a BA in Political Science and English from Fordham University.

Outside of the office

Hunter grew up on Guam and is proud of her Chamoru upbringing. On the weekends, you can find her sharpening her boxing skills at her favorite queer and women-owned gym, Haven, or rooting for her favorite Seattle women’s sports teams.
