Office Manager
Brenda keeps Elemental’s operations running smoothly by supporting People Operations, Finance, IT, Legal, and Events, creating the systems, spaces, and processes that allow our team to focus on advancing climate impact.

She serves as a central connective hub across Elemental’s internal operations, ensuring the team has the structure, tools, and support needed to do their best work. She oversees office operations, safety, IT systems, and shared workspaces while coordinating onboarding, offboarding, payroll administration, benefits, and compliance through our PEO partner. She collaborates closely with the Finance team to support payroll processing, reporting, vendor payments, audits, and professional development tracking, and she assists Legal with contract workflows and records management. She also supports Elemental’s internal and external events, from board meetings to community gatherings, managing logistics, vendors, materials, and team gifting. Her work helps strengthen organizational culture, operational excellence, and trust, ensuring that the behind-the-scenes infrastructure empowers our entrepreneurs, partners, investors, and staff to advance projects that deliver climate impact across Hawaiʻi and beyond.
Prior to Elemental
Before joining Elemental Impact, Brenda served as an Office Manager for TS Restaurants and an Administrative Assistant at UCLA. These positions enabled her to build a diverse operations background across administrative leadership, event management, bookkeeping, and contract support roles.
Her experience spans coordinating complex schedules and events, managing financial documentation and vendor relationships, supporting legal workflows, and maintaining HR systems, all while serving as a dependable point of contact for both internal teams and external partners.
Working in Hawaiʻi has strengthened her appreciation for community centered operations and culturally grounded collaboration. Throughout her career, she’s focused on creating efficient, people first systems that support mission driven organizations, enabling teams to operate effectively while staying rooted in shared purpose.
Outside of the Office
Outside of work, she enjoys spending time outdoors, staying active, traveling, and exploring local food spots around Oʻahu and beyond. She values simple downtime on the island’s beaches and sharing time with friends and family, while staying connected to the community that makes Hawaiʻi home.
