Mike is Chief Financial Officer and is responsible for directing financial reporting and budgeting, as well as owning the relationships with auditors, tax preparers, and Elemental’s other financial service providers.
Prior to Elemental
After spending the first 20 years of his professional life in the banking industry, Mike pursued entrepreneurial adventures in start-ups and distressed companies before finding his way to the Nonprofit Sector. Throughout his career Mike has contributed his time and talents to a variety of non-profit organizations working to make Hawaii a better place to live, including Family Programs Hawaii, Friends of Foster Kids, The Outdoor Circle, The Hawaii Blood Bank, St. Andrew’s Schools, Housing Solutions Incorporated and most recently Residential Services and Youth Empowerment (RYSE).
Outside of the office
Mike and his partner Piia love to travel but love coming home to Hawaii even more.
