Mason is a climate investor residing in his hometown of Washington, D.C. He is passionate about innovation in deep tech, climate tech and their intersection to improve the human experience and create a sustainable and more equitable world. As a Senior Investment Manager, Mason works closely with the Portfolio Innovation Team to inform Elemental’s investments in scale-up projects, new cohorts and more.
Prior to Elemental Excelerator
Prior to joining Elemental, Mason worked throughout the U.S. and U.K. as a consultant, investor and specialist for Google’s Responsible Innovation team, where he led strategic initiatives on emerging technologies and sustainability. He received his Bachelor of Science (BS) from Georgetown University and his Master of Science (MS) in Environment and Resources and Master of Business Administration (MBA) from Stanford University.
Outside of the office
Outside of work, Mason loves Latin dancing, martial arts and spending quality time with his partner and their two pets, Goku and Eevee. A learner for life, Mason is known to wander through D.C.’s enchanting museums and cultural exhibits.
