Prior to Elemental
Christina brings more than 15 years of experience in climate policy design and analysis, business strategy and development, project startup and management, campaign and communications strategy, and partnership and coalition building. She has advanced policies and programs at the city, state, and federal levels and across a range climate and clean tech issues such as building decarbonization, transportation electrification, climate adaptation, clean power, and industrial energy efficiency.
Prior to Elemental, Christina was a senior-level strategic advisor and project director at the Natural Resources Defense Council (NRDC), an international environmental advocacy nonprofit organization. Over her time at NRDC, Christina designed, fundraised, and directed a number of large-scale climate initiatives, including the American Cities Climate Challenge— a multimillion accelerator to help 25 mayors and their cities pass and implement over 200 climate policies and programs.
In addition to her work at NRDC, Christina served as a member of the National Advance Team for President Obama’s successful 2008 campaign and later as an advance consultant to the White House, leading the President’s and First Lady’s domestic and international visits.
